**COVID-19 EPVC UPDATE** Greetings to our Eagle Point Veterinary Clinic friends!We would like to start by saying ‘Thank you’ for choosing us as your veterinary care provider, we appreciate your confidence and trust in us and we appreciate the opportunity to serve you!
As COVID 19 serious illnesses and hospitalizations are continuing to decrease and restrictions are lifted, we are all getting back to ‘normal’ life. We closed our doors just over 2 years ago at the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic and we are excited to be inviting our clients back into the building!
Things will look just a little different than they did pre-COVID, here’s what to expect:
– We ask that you arrive ~10 minutes prior to your exam time as we will have some paper work for you to fill out. – We have implemented a ‘hybrid’ service. We ask that you call when you arrive and wait in your vehicle with your pet until it is time for your appointment. A veterinary technician will come out to bring you and your pet inside for the examination. We expect this will decrease the stress/anxiety your pet experiences and will minimize the general feeling of stress inside our waiting area. – We will continue to offer curbside service for those who have found these visits to be more appealing and for those who are still wanting to limit their exposure to others. – We ask that a maximum of 2 people per visit be present for in clinic appointment (exceptions will be made for end of life appointments). – Masks will be optional while inside the clinic. – If you need to pick up medication, you may come right in or call from the parking lot to pay over the phone and one of our client service representatives will bring your items out to you. – If you are sick (with COVID 19 or any other contagious illness or have been exposed to someone with COVID 19) we will require curbside service for patient exams and medication pick up and we ask that you mask for our interactions; or if not urgent we will reschedule your appointment.
Please keep in mind, the veterinary world has been extremely busy through the pandemic, our clinic included. Our staff has been working hard and long hours to keep your pets well cared for. We ask that you extend some grace as we work through these changes.
